Okay, we know it's late in the game when it comes to announcing this trip - sorry, we've been working on details to try to make this happen. It has finally come together, and we hope you can come.
Here is what we'll do:
On Thursday morning, June 11, we'll load the bus around 8am and head to Waco. Once we are there, we will be doing service projects at a charter school called Rapoport Academy. Rapoport was established to help children from low income families and low income neighborhoods have a good school to attend. It was started for a great reason and they continue to help many kids and families.
On Thursday night we'll stay at Crestview Church of Christ. On Friday we'll serve again and then head home and be home around 6:30pm.
This is a non-romantic relationship trip. So, if there is someone you like or someone you might start to like, this isn't the trip to hang out with them. We'll all be together as a group for this trip. That doesn't mean we don't want you to go. We just want to be clear on expectations.
This is also a non-drama trip. So if you're planning to talk bad about others behind their back or be mad at someone during this trip, please change before you sign up. Talking bad about others or holding grudges toward others is not-Christlike, and we ask that you do not do these things.
